Factors for a Successful Engineer

From my past 30 years of experience in engineering and in life, I found that the followings are the factors of success:
1. aims-set targets for short , medium and long terms
2. thinking-planning, reading and deep research in the methods to achieve the targets and focusing on it.
3. action-what you do for what you get
4. continuous improvement-the important tool for survival

The Chief Engineer's Blog- 3 types of people

This blog is aiming to provide engineering, management, personal knowledge and experience from the view point of a Chief Engineer, who has 30 years of engagement in project management, energy conservation and facilities maintenance. There will be a lot of moving stories on how a poor boy has struggled to become a successful professional engineer too.

Let me start by stating that there are 3 types of people in this world:
1. the wise people, who survive and excel because they have wit and wisdom
2. the diligent people, who survive by focus on what they are looking for.
3. the ones who are not wise nor wanting to work hard either.

Which one you want to be?
